I came to Fayette ER near death with sepsis shock and a strangled ventral hernia, and Dr. Winger did a series of surgeries that few other doctors could perform and saved me. But what really stands out is his personable care (far better than the many other doctors who saw me). In the past couple months on his own time he has followed up on my rehab and continued to show concern and respond almost immediately to calls. He spends lots of time with patients. And he listens. Most doctors would do well to emulate his style. If you need surgery, and Tom Winger is the surgeon, you're in excellent hands.
